O Christmas Tree...

Once again...these pics are all out of order (New Year's Resolution: learn how to make a REAL blog so I can put pics wherever I want!)

Our annual tradition of cutting our Christmas tree. We found a perfect place...uphill climb to the trees = downhill drag to the car (smart!). The kids had fun playing in the snow and Brownie the sled dog was in her element! We ended up with an awesome tree (around 14 feet tall again). Still never ceases to amaze me...the tree didn't look that big until we got it up in our living room (pictures of that to come later when we've decorated it!)

Trans-Siberian Orchestra

This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas...Grandma Duck and I took the kids to their first rock concert! (OK it was Trans Siberian Orchestra...but if you've ever seen them, you'll know it counts as a rock concert even if it is Christmas songs). The kids LOVED it. We had great seats and it was a blast. Thanks Grandma Duck!!

Thanksgiving in Vegas

I can never figure out how to outsmart Blogger and put my pictures in the order I want, so these are actually in reverse order...but oh well.
Anyway, the kids and I spent Thanksgiving in Vegas. We had SUCH a great time. Here's some of the fun things we did:
Visit to Santa. Of course Torri was more interested in other things going on around her!
Playing minature golf. We started out dressed like this then ended up bundled up in our coats--it was COLD!!

Sorry Grandma Duck--couldn't get the sun out of your eyes!

Hole in one?

Pop Pop and Torri

Nanny & Torri

4 Generations! (Torri was taking a nap)

So they have this AMAZING Christmas light display at the Speedway in Vegas. You drive through it in your car. Between mom and I we couldn't figure out the night settings on my camera (should I mention that we have the SAME camera?!) Plus you weren't supposed to stop your car, so we were quite a pair trying to get good pictures of the light display...this is about all we ended up with!

Visit from our BFF's!

So my BFF and her family came to visit us in November. Their youngest has never seen snow in real life (thank goodness we got a few inches while they were here!) Among other things we did together, the boys went skiing (the first time for some of them). Such a fun time!
