Christmas Break--trip to AZ

Visit from AZ friends

So the night before we were going to leave for AZ, we got to hang out with friends of ours (who live in AZ but were on vacation in UT). SO great to catch up with good friends...look at all our crazy kids!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning before getting to open presents...so excited! And they only woke us up at 7am--not too bad.
Electric razor scooters from Santa
All kinds of other fun gifts from family...thanks everyone who mailed the kids presents!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

The outlet mall in town plays host to Santa every December. He arrives on a fire truck and then is there so the kids can sit on his lap, and get goodies from the local stores. The kids were SO excited to see him--obviously...

Dickens Festival & Temple Square Lights

We went to the Dickens Festival at the fairgrounds. There were tons of neat booths and goodies, as well as music and other entertainment. Here are some of the Ghosts from the classic A Christmas Carol. They use these later on in a reinactment of the story. After this fun night we also went to Winder Dairy for 99 cent scones and hot chocolate (our new Christmas tradition FOR SURE!!! SO yummy!)

All bundled up to look at lights--it was cold!

Happy Birthday 9 year old!!

Happy Birthday morning!

The Birthday Boy requested cinnamon rolls for breakfast--we were shocked to deviate from the traditional thin pancake breakfast!

Sweet new CD/iPod speaker system from Mom & Dad

Birthday party with friends at Incredible Pizza
